How to Manage Your Energy When Traveling

As many of you know, I travel A LOT, and being an empath and introvert as well as being particularly sensitive to what’s going on around me, I’m constantly managing my energy, especially when I’m on the road.

So, first of all, before I share what I do, I want to share the importance of this. If you can relate to any of the above, and really, feeling deeply, and maybe as part of this, have ever been called “too or overly emotional” or, at times, have felt overwhelmed being in group situations, and even if this doesn’t fully apply to you, here’s why this is important and can help you.

Simply put, when we’re in public, even if we’re not aware of it, we’re constantly taking on other people’s stuff. What’s even worse, though, is as we take this on, we think it’s our own, and this can make us feel crazy or overly emotional at times. Can you relate at all? I know for the longest time, this was me, and I had no clue this was happening, let alone what to do with it.

Then, I started learning about energy, and I realized how much this was defining my experiences. Even better, then I learned what t do with it! Below is what I typically do:

1. Put myself in an impermeable bubble.

Does this sound weird? Well, of course it is! 🙂 Yet, it works. Basically, to do this, what I do is see myself in a bubble, and then I seal the bubble, as a bubble can feel very open. (When I used to do this without sealing it, I did find that more got in, but it’s important to note, there’s no one right way to do this. Picture this as works for you, which might mean, if you see a wall as you’re doing this process that your Guides are guiding you to a different visual.)

2. Put everyone else in their own bubble.

After I’m in my bubble, I put everyone else in their own impermeable bubble, making sure each bubble is sealed as well. I do this by literally seeing this in my mind’s eye. First, I start with the people who are closest to me, and then I go row by row. The more you practice this, the quicker it gets, as I can usually now do this within a minute or two (max). As you do this, you may notice that it feels or gets lighter, and with this, you may notice that you feel better.

3. Set an intention.

The last thing I do is to set an intention that I don’t take on anyone else’s stuff. I literally do this by simply saying this to myself: “I set the intention not to take on anyone else’s stuff.” With this, if I notice I’ve taken on something throughout the flight, I put myself back in the protective bubble. It’s as simple as this!

I love the above process for beginning to protect my energy, and I’d love to hear how this works for you! Simply reply to this email with your comments.

Also, if you’d like to hear about more processes for protecting yourself, clearing your energy when you leave public spaces and with this, working with your Guides and Angels and the Archangels to always feel protected, I invite you to join me at Saturday’s Online Connecting to Your Guides & Angels Workshop! (There will be a recording, too, if you can’t make it live!)

You can find out more details and sign-up here!

Look forward to seeing you there!
